The foundation stone of M. R. Beltings, originally established as the renowned Mercury Rubber, was laid in the year 1963, by illustrious Lala Janki Dass, late grandfather of Proprietor, Mr. Amit Singal, who has since given a distinct edge to this First such SSI unit of India with his enterprising skills and technological up-gradation.

Infrastructure
Our state-of-art manufacturing unit is equipped with Hydraulic Belt Press from FUJIWARA Iron-JAPAN and Calender from NIPPON Rolls-JAPAN with matching Making Table, Mixing Line, Inspection Press etc. that ensures high quality productivity. The NIPPON 3 - Rolls Calender can be tuned to desired thickness and width. The Calender skim-coats textile fabric with special rubber compounds, as per customers specifications / application. Thereafter, the fabric plies of a belt are equally stretched by a pneumatically controlled device, during assembly on the Making Table (which minimizes difference of tension among the plies). The green belt is then cured in controlled conditions of the Press. In our system, there is a provision for post-cure and pre-cure stretch of the belt. It has been established that it increases full belt tensile strength of the belt and also reduces elongation during its run at site. Both these features go to the advantage of Industrial users of MrBelts .

Quality Control R&D Laboratory
Equipped with various testing machines, as per IS: 1891 / IS: 1370 / ISO: 340 / CAN / IRSS / CMPDIL etc., this laboratory remains over busy for in-process as also pre post manufacture quality control.

The plant had been set up in such a way, as the various departments of the plant are sequenced therein, so as to allow proper working rhythm. The Plant & Machinery consists of the state of art Hydraulic Press from FUJIWARA, Calendar from NIPPON, Japan along with the necessary ancillary equipments like Making Table, Mixing Mills & D.G.Set from CUMMINS for captive power generation. The unit has all the testing facilities and well equipped laboratory to cater to the stringent quality expectations of the customers, to name a few, Tensile Machines from Germany and G.D.R., Computerised Rheometer, Flex Testing from CROYDON, Scotland.
